I've given two baby showers at the Eisenhower Center this year. The staff were very accommodating and everyone loved the venue. I will continue to patronize the Eisenhower Center for my parties or baby showers.

I keep trying to get my child involved with the park district because we live in the neighborhood and the area I came from before I know the park district was very resourceful and beneficial to families. But this facility has disappointed me on various occasions.
One summer I planned a baby shower paid to use the room, they ended up canceling on me!
Another time booked an activity for my son to do over the summer, this was cancelled....Twice this happened!
Now, recently Im asking if they have after-school care program and their answer is "no, Im Sorry".
CAN THIS PLACE BE ANY MORE SORRY AND DISAPPOINTING!
It's sad.

2 stars because I appreciate the gym experience or it would be 1. I paid for the whole year so unfortunately I'm stuck here. Second time coming here, I forgot my purse after already getting in the locker room. Came to my car to get it,my card wouldn't let me in. The woman at the desk staring at me I said my card won't let me in. She said "well idk why " with a huge attitude. I told her what happened she said well that's why I said oh well I didn't know that she responded "it's in the fine print dont you read" I said obviously I read or I wouldn't have been able to sign up for the membership. She said well obviously you don't. I told her look you can inform me and not be condescending. She continued to harass me saying she's not being nothing and "I'm not treating you like nothing" I said exactly you're treating me like nothing" I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE LEVEL OF UNPROFESSIONALISM. anyways I will do my workout since I already paid for the year ?

My son's phone got stolen from there while he was playing basketball ? and several other kids were missing items as well. Recommend security monitoring of the facility or perhaps lockers will be better. Ijs.

They make you pay 40 dollars a month but you have to call to see if you can come to gym to play basketball . Because they don’t have a schedule just everyday is something new .

There workers are bad with communication ,
But my problem is why do I have to call to do something at a gym where I have a membership.

They are like basically stealing money and the sad thing is they are not smart , nor they lady who’s the supervisor we all know 90% of supervisors are dum so there employees are the same just go to the counter and see for yourself.

First, I give a star to the young lady who was a friendly and kind-hearted receptionist. Now the low rating is given because I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the integrity of a particular manager/supervisor. I can't tell you the name of this person because she never had the decency to address me regarding her decision to my request. I was distributing and posting fliers about my school, Agape Christian Academy, to preschools, residents and churches. My school will house kindergarten and first grade, school-aged children. INSTEAD of passing out fliers to parents entering the building, I wanted to be legal and respectful so I asked the clerk if they will permit me to post or leave a flier in the lobby. The kind young lady checked with a manager, I assume. She consulted with another woman, who obviously took time to read it because I could see the flier in her hand and it took some time to respond. The young lady ( receptionist) returned and told me "No, and have a good day." In that there was a line of people waiting to be served, I did not follow-up on it. As an educator, it is a habit for me to always tell a student why I made a decision so they can understand. If, whoever this woman is and whatever her title, was the one with authority to approve or disapprove my request, then as a professional please next time have the integrity, decency, and professionalism to kindly explain to the customer why you made that decision. It is not the no/disapproval that disappoints me, as much as the lack of courtesy in telling me why she made that decision.
I am a resident of Lansing and a homeowner so I pay my share of taxes for municipalities and park districts that hire people to work in these public places to serve our community. All I need, is a reason why it was disapproved?

Don't come here. Black lady at the reception desk is nasty and non responsive to a simple hello. I said it several times and no response. She just looked like what? Smh.. I won't waste my time here. It's the initial response for me. Bye Felicia ?
