Terrible Experience!!!

We moved out of our unit at First Flagler Condominium on June 25th and provided Cadisa with our new address to return our building deposit. It's now been months, and we still haven't received our money. We've sent countless emails, and despite their claim that email is the only way to communicate, they have ignored every single one. Even our landlord tried to contact them on our behalf, but they continue to be unresponsive. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and we are now forced to take legal action. Avoid Cadisa at all costs!

Response: I cant reply to Cadissa so Ill update this here. 5 months later my issue is not resolved as you said in the reply. I didn’t even hear from you people again. So NOT SOLVED. Everytime I called kept given me excuses and they still do. Nobody contacted me from your company and my problem is not solved. Still waiting for my deposit.

I would like to provide an update on the current situation at 5050 NW 7st building. I'll start by emphasizing that my goal is not to harm the building management company. This is not a personal matter, despite how they try to portray it. However, I consider it essential to share the reality of what is happening, as I am sure they will strive to deny any legitimate negative criticism from residents. I have reasons to believe, and evidence to back it up, that they are misrepresenting the truth.

The internal and external state of the building is sufficient evidence of the situation, particularly after having paid more than $10,000 in special assessments. These have been applied against the wishes of the owners for over a year, with no apparent improvement.

I am at a point of genuine concern for my family's and my own safety. The building does not seem to be able to meet municipal certifications. The infrastructure is chaotic: the floors lack carpets, there is mold everywhere, and the cleanliness is lacking. We experience water cuts that last more than 8 hours every week, an inconvenience that resembles situations in developing countries. They started painting a few months ago, but it seems they stopped halfway, leaving the seventh floor unfinished.

As for parking, I no longer have an assigned spot. My space was taken and reassigned to an external area previously designated for visitors, a site that other residents mistakenly occupy thinking it is still for visitors. Despite fulfilling my payments just like everyone else, I do not enjoy the right to a parking space, as stipulated by law.

My quality of life in this building has significantly decreased, but I do not have the resources to move out. If it had been possible, I would have left a long time ago. Living at 5050 involves constant and painful wear and tear, watching thousands of dollars being disbursed without seeing any improvement. I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone.

The management company and the board of directors leave much to be desired. Vulgar words, mistreatment, and abuse of power are commonplace. As an example, the board's president, in a fit of anger, yelled at my mother, an elderly woman, to get a life when she was complaining about the damages in the apartment. I insist that you do not let yourselves be deceived. My personal experience here has been deeply unfavorable. Despite the distress I feel at having to go through this, I hope that, with God's help, we can soon put an end to this nightmare and give way to people who genuinely care about the wellbeing and prosperity of the building and its residents. I just hope that there will be no retaliation against me for merely expressing my feelings.

These people are thieves. They took the money that our families paid with so much sacrifice and stole it, they didn’t use it to do their job, which was supposed to provide the maintenance of our building. The turned our house into a dumpster. This company is a fraud!

Estamos eternamente agradecidos a los CEOs (Jackie y Carlos Diaz Sampol) por su gran trabajo y el esfuerzo extra que siempre nos brindan, ojalá sigamos contando con ustedes por muchos años más, gracias gracias gracias.

Yo viví en ese edificio y voy a ver a mi familia dos veces al año y la verdad me ha desilusionado esta compañía .Llegó y veo el desastre que hay en este edificio ,sin pisos en los pasillos ,falta de agua de tres a cuatro horas diarias y la suciedad que hay ,se ve la falta de organización en los trabajos ,en el edificio ,las paredes sucias llenas de moho y el aspecto del edificio es muy denigrante .Todo esto es por la mala administración de Candida y su manager que los representa ,mis tíos son adultos mayores y han tenido que pagar ya más de 12,000 mil dólares en Special Assessment y quien tiene la culpa de todo Candida y el Board .La verdad no la recomiendo a nadie. .

I have been disappointed with this company and the overall quality of their management. For weeks I had to beg them to come and repair a leaking roof and damaged balcony which was only to be repaired by my homeowners association per bylaws.

Somehow the representative for my community is always busy and unable to return a phone call. When the work was finally “completed” after 2 months, there was no oversight of the contractors and they did a very shoddy job of putting my balcony back together with rotting floorboards and no effort to deliver a reasonable final product.

The work is still in progress at this point and I will reserve further judgment until I see how the issue is resolved. As a sidenote, the front office receptionist is extremely thoughtful and helpful which helps to improve the overall experience with Cadisa.

We, the owners of 5050 Condominium must never forget where we were when Cadisa came and joined forces with the Board gear to one direction, "BRING THE RESIDENTS HOME". Of course, everything is not honky glory and there are lots of little and big hurdlers to conquer, but I have faith in your determination and attitude to bring 5050 back to the glory once was.
